A sanctuary in the jungle where Mayan culture comes to life
Located in the heart of Valladolid, Yucatan, our hotel is a portal to a world where nature and Mayan culture intertwine with luxury and exclusivity. Here, time slows down and every detail is designed to reconnect body and mind with what is essential. We are not just a hotel, we are a destination in itself, a refuge for those seeking authenticity, peace and profound experiences.
A cenote of one's own: water as a symbol of freedom and connection
Imagine waking up to the sound of the wind caressing the jungle and walking barefoot to a sacred cenote, where the crystal-clear water reflects the sky and the spirit of the earth. This is not just any cenote; it is a natural sanctuary where our guests have privileged access to swim, immerse themselves in the tranquility of its waters and, soon, experience ancient Mayan ceremonies designed to renew energy.
Diving here is a liberating experience. It is an encounter with an underground world that has remained intact for centuries, a space for introspection and rebirth.
Gastronomy: fire as art, fusion as identity
Our restaurant is not just a place to eat, but a space where fire and creativity transform local ingredients into unforgettable gastronomic experiences. Chef Nelson Ay leads a kitchen that masterfully fuses Mayan tradition and Spanish heritage, creating dishes that honor the origin of each flavor.
We cook with fresh ingredients from the region and ancestral methods such as cooking in a pib (earth oven), smoking with aromatic woods and open fire. Each dish is a tribute to history and the land, a symphony of flavors that awaken the senses and tell a story with each bite.
Breathing spaces: stone, jungle and architecture in harmony
Here, architecture does not dominate nature, but embraces it. Our buildings are inspired by Mayan culture, using carved stone, natural materials and open designs that allow the jungle to blend into every corner.
As guests walk along our trails, they can feel the energy of the earth beneath their feet, watch the light filter through the trees, and enjoy the luxury of the simple: the sound of birds, the scent of vegetation, the warm Yucatan breeze.
At night, the sky becomes a spectacle like no other. Without light pollution, the stars reveal themselves with a clarity that only the jungle can offer. Around the campfire, guests can share stories, listen to the wind rustle through the trees and reconnect with what is most essential.
